Aarini ("Aarini," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits our website at aarinijewels.com (the "Site"), shops with us, or interacts with our brand on social media and other channels. Should Aarini's business structure change in future, this policy will be updated to reflect that.

By using the Site or placing an order with us, you agree to the practices described below. c) Payment information
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways integrated with our Shopify checkout. Aarini does not see or store your full card number, CVV, or net-banking credentials — these are handled directly by our payment partners under industry-standard security protocols (such as PCI-DSS).
d) Information from third parties
We may receive limited information from courier and logistics partners (such as delivery status updates) and from social platforms like Instagram if you interact with our brand page there.

Keep you informed about order status, shipping, exchanges, and returns
Verify Cash on Delivery orders, including sending WhatsApp verification codes to confirm order authenticity

Service providers who help us operate — our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment gateways, courier and logistics partners, email/SMS marketing tools, and IT support — solely to help deliver their services to us
Order verification services — for Cash on Delivery orders, we use Releasit to send a WhatsApp verification code to confirm your order. This requires sharing your phone number and order details (such as order value and COD status) with Releasit for verification purposes only
Legal authorities, if required by law, court order, or government request
A successor business, if Aarini is ever sold, merged, or restructured, in which case your data may transfer as part of that process
Anyone else, only with your specific consent
6. Our Relationship with Shopify
Our Site is built and hosted on Shopify's platform, which processes personal information on our behalf to operate, secure, and improve the Services. Separately from this basic hosting role, Shopify also offers platform-wide features — such as fraud prevention and personalised advertising tools — that draw on data and activity from across Shopify's broader merchant network, not just from Aarini's Site. Where Shopify processes your information for these platform-wide purposes, it does so as an independent party responsible for that processing, including for responding to related requests you may have. 7. Data Storage, Security, and International Transfers
We take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to protect your information, relying on Shopify's platform security, SSL encryption, and our payment partners' safeguards. That said, no method of storage or transmission online is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection.
Because we use Shopify and other global service providers, your information may be stored or processed on servers located outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure these providers maintain data protection standards consistent with Indian law.
Aarini currently ships only within India. Should we begin shipping internationally in future — including to the European Economic Area or United Kingdom — any transfer of your data out of those regions would rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent UK-approved mechanism, unless the transfer is to a country already recognised as offering an adequate level of protection. We will update this policy with further detail and any region-specific rights before international shipping begins.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes in this policy, including keeping order and invoice records for the period required under applicable tax and accounting laws. Once information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.
