Aarini – Terms of Service

Welcome to Aarini ("Aarini," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at aarinijewels.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make with us. By browsing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

The Site is intended for individuals aged 18 and above. By using the Site or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

2. Products

We make every effort to display our jewellery accurately, including through product photos and descriptions. However, slight variations in colour, finish, or appearance may occur due to screen settings, lighting during photography, or the natural, handcrafted nature of our pieces. We do not currently offer size customisation or engraving — all products are sold as listed on the Site.

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit the availability of any product at any time, without prior notice.

3. Pricing and Payment

• All prices on the Site are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on the Site, even after an order has been placed, and will inform you before processing the order if this happens.
• Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways integrated with our Shopify checkout. We do not store your complete card, UPI, or banking details on our servers.
• Depending on availability, we may offer both prepaid payment methods (cards, UPI, net banking) and Cash on Delivery (COD). Available payment methods will be shown to you at checkout.
• Orders below ₹2,500 carry a handling fee of ₹199, applicable to both prepaid and Cash on Delivery orders. Cash on Delivery orders additionally carry a COD fee of ₹99, regardless of order value. All applicable charges will be clearly shown at checkout before you confirm your order.

4. Orders and Cancellations

Once an order is placed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or modified. Please review your order carefully — including product selection, quantity, and delivery address — before completing checkout.

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inability to fulfil the order due to stock unavailability. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method. For Cash on Delivery orders where no payment has yet been collected, no refund is applicable.

5. Shipping and Delivery

We currently ship only within India. Estimated delivery timelines will be shared at checkout or via order confirmation, but these are estimates and not guaranteed, as deliveries depend on our courier partners and factors outside our control.

Risk of loss and title for products purchased pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout.

6. Returns and Refunds

Our approach to returns, replacements, and refunds is set out separately in our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review it before placing an order.

7. Account Registration

If you create an account on the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately at care@aarinijewels.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including our logo, product photography, descriptions, graphics, and design — is the property of Aarini and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any of this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our systems, or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site's functionality or security
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data from the Site without our permission

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aarini shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products purchased, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of use, or delays caused by third-party courier or payment partners. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product shall not exceed the amount paid for that product.

11. Third-Party Services

Our Site relies on third-party service providers, including Shopify (for hosting and e-commerce functionality), payment gateways, and courier partners. We are not responsible for any failures, delays, or issues caused by these third parties, though we will make reasonable efforts to assist in resolving them on your behalf.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, products, or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurugram, Haryana.
